Marriage is one of the most important days in a couple's life but couples are made each in their own way.
Even the event of union between two people can and should represent the uniqueness of the couple who is taking that step.
The need to celebrate life's important passages and moments is part of human nature and is independent of any creed or religion.
In Italy, in recent centuries, with the advent of the Catholic religion, all ceremonies have become almost a monopoly of the church.
But people who are not believers or who, for various reasons or will, could not receive or did not want a religious ceremony?
In the case of marriage, as we all know, there is the alternative of the civil ceremony.
Exactly, RITE! 10 minutes of "bureaucracy" and it's all over!
A ceremony is completely different!
These are the reasons that led me on this path. Path began a personal level and resulted in the professional when I realized that many people were living on my own distress in not being able to give their best in the moments of celebration.
The symbolic ceremonies fill the human need to celebrate the important moments of life by respecting the personality of who is going through that change. They give the opportunity to create totally unique, personal and solemn ceremonies.

So what can be done?

You can call a professional celebrant to write and celebrate a complete ceremony (which can be symbolic or authentic if the necessary requirements exist) that represents you and that can be equally emotional and solemn while keeping the couple at the center of the celebration.
Don't get me wrong, though. While not religious ceremonies, it does not mean that believing couples should feel or be excluded. From experience I can say that there are people who, while declaring themselves Catholic, want a personal and representative ceremony. What do you do in this case? Reference is made to the creed in question or readings from sacred books, for example, without however diverting attention from the people who are experiencing that important moment.

The reasons for choosing this kind of ceremonies are different:
- Feel the need for a ceremony that is yours and that speaks about you.
- You are a couple of different cultures and spiritualities and you want to merge ideas and traditions in a single ceremony that represents both.
- Think that classic civil ceremonies are too cold and impersonal.
- You want to highlight the emotional value of the moment.
- needs or wishes of a different kind will lead to celebrate the marriage legal in another time or place.

So why settle for a ceremony equal to a thousand others?
My ceremonies are written specifically and in concert with the spouses, shaping them on their history and their personality. It is possible to involve friends and relatives, choose readings and music without any limitation of genre. For the central part of the ceremony there are different rites, in addition to the classic exchange of rings (link articolo Cerimonie simboliche) but nothing forbids to create one ad hoc for the couple, also taking a cue and integrating existing ones.
