Many people are scared of the WP profession, but I'm here to debunk this myth!
There is, especially here in Italy, much confusion regarding the figure of the WP. Many believe it is the person who gets to chair decorated with bows and various objects, which only deals with the preparation on the room or little else, considering it an unnecessary expense. Nothing more wrong!
It is true, there are people who, from fitters, florists, creators of favors etc. they invent WP without knowing what the profession consists of.
Let's start from the beginning:
what does my work consist of?
A Wedding Planner takes care of the ORGANIZATION of your wedding. Of course, it can also happen that he starts to bow around the hall, but that is certainly not his main task.
Many think that a WP decides every detail depersonalizing the event simply by following the fashions of the moment. Wrong! My job is to deal with the most demanding and annoying tasks in your place, but you take the decisions!
In my role as Wedding Planner, I will take you by the hand and accompany you from the beginning of the preparations to the cake cutting.
I will deal with the research and management of suppliers, mark the timing of the preparations (time plan), the allocation of the budget (budget plan) and styling in order to make the most of the location (s) you have chosen.
It will, if you wish, a team that will ease the most challenging and stressful part that involves the organization of a wedding.
My mission will be to make the day you already have in mind or help you find inspiration, all while saving you time, effort and stress!
If you wish, you can also entrust me only some parts of the organization and manage directly what you prefer.
My job is to select the suppliers and the location according to your requests and your tastes but, if you don't like what I propose, no problem! We will look for something else! My task will also be the scanning of the timing and the keeping of the administrative part and the management of the suppliers acting as a "filter" between you and the professionals. Think about the difference between having a single person to refer to or having to manage each individual supplier personally ...!
The most important service will be my presence for the entire wedding day, which will allow you to spend (and enjoy) a day simply by getting married, as protagonists, without having to think about anything else!
All this without ever losing sight of the budget.
A wedding is expensive yet, why should I pay for a WP?
Another sore point and another myth to dispel: the budget!
I understand that, at first glance, that for a WP might seem like an additional expense to the rest.. In reality, relying on a professional could mean the exact opposite, that is: saving money!
Let's clarify a fundamental point: it is NOT the WP to decide how much your wedding should cost. You set the budget for your wedding! The WP works with the budget provided careful to stay within, always with the utmost transparency. So, do not be afraid, I will not make you spend more than what you have established!
Being a professional figure, a WP has the knowledge and experience necessary to make your budget maximize and thus fulfill your wishes at the most advantageous price. Not to mention the savings in time and especially of stress!
